Informacje o zabiegu
The choice of trigger finger treatment depends on many factors. This includes long lasting inflammation (more than half a year), problem with the mobility of fingers, co-existing diseases (diabetes, gout), as well as failure of previous rehabilitation and anti-inflammatory medicines. The treatment takes several minutes. It is usually performed under local anaesthesia. It consists in cutting a fibrous sheath of the patient’s tendon, thus allowing free movement. After the procedure, the patient can leave the hospital on the same day. For about four weeks it is necessary to wear sling for your hand in order to heal the wound properly. The operation has a low risk of complications and enables quick recovery of the hand. The price of procedure depends on the deformation degree and the extent of procedure.
