Treatments are performed in case of chronic nerve pressure, which causes characteristic symptoms (tingling, sensory disorders, pain, and loss of full mobility). The surgery consists in releasing the patient’s nerve from anatomical structures pressing it (e.g. in case of carpal tunnel syndrome, the flexor retinaculum is incised. The edges of flexor retinaculum slide apart, expanding the canal and loosening the mid-nerve nerve). The operation enables regeneration of the peripheral nerve and resolution of symptoms. The treatment is planned, performed under anaesthesia, so that it is completely painless. The operation takes about ten minutes. Thanks to experienced staff and surgical technicians selected for each patient, hand fitness returns very quickly after the treatment. - immunosuppression through immunosuppressive drugs or HIV infection
- taking blood thinners
- advanced diabetes
